Y42 raises a seed round

Berlin, March 22, 2021 For the past year, our team has been working tirelessly to craft software that we can all be proud of and most importantly, that provides massive value for our customers. We have focused most of our efforts on product development. We have always bet on doing the fundamentals first and kept true to ourselves which has not always been an easy path. And we will continue to do so.

Although we’re a relatively young company, this never stopped our prospects — and now clients — from working with us and relying on Y42 as their single source of truth. We have acquired amazing customers, from hyper-growth startups like everdrop to LifeMD, a NASDAQ-listed company, which has proven to me that there is a definite need for a no-code/low-code BI tool like ours and that we’re on the right track.

Today, I’m very thrilled to announce that we have secured a $2.9 million seed funding round, led by La Famiglia, a European VC that is investing in B2B technologies. Additional investors include the co-founders of Foodspring, Personio, AeroMobil, and Petlab/Hashgraph et. al.

This funding ignites our shot at changing how companies work with their data. To briefly recall our mission:

Y42 is a no-code Business Intelligence tool that provides an enterprise-level data stack with the simplicity of spreadsheets, empowering business and tech users alike to work with their data efficiently and collaboratively.

The funding will help us pursue our mission and further support our go-to-market strategy as well as product development. We are also planning to introduce additional features, such as full-fledged reporting templates (so-called intelligence apps) and data automation features similar to Zapier for every company function later this year.
