Getting started
Requirements and prerequisites
Shopify account.
Set up guide
Create a source
Create a new Source of type Shopify (CData).
Configure a secret
Add a new connection (or use an existing one).
Provide an AccessToken to authenticate and follow the Shopify documentation (opens in a new tab) to generate an access token.
Also, enter the Shop URL to your shopify environment, e.g. https://yourshopname.myshopify.com
.
Configure integration
Provide the following additional properties:
- Schema: The Shopify server version to connect to. We recommend to use the default
REST-2023-04
. - Replication Start Date: The date from which you want to import data into your data warehouse.
- Include Custom Fields: Whether to import custom properties on the Products and ProductVariants tables. Leave to
false
for improved performance or set totrue
to include custom fields in your imports.
